“Hospitality venues will be allowed to serve people outdoors at Step 2 and there will be no need for customers to order a substantial meal with alcoholic drinks and no curfew, although customers must order, eat and drink while seated (‘table service’). Wider social contact rules will apply in all these settings to prevent indoor mixing between different households”.
As pubs and Hospitality springs back to life there is a likelihood of pressure on fish stocks which are already feeling the pinch, so please:
· Keep us posted of any special requests or speciality goods you require?
· Let us know (if possible) what your plans are for re-opening?
· Try not to presume that everything will be the same as pre-covid regarding availability?
· Give us as much warning as possible regarding your menu changes before going to print?

17th MAY
Most businesses in all but the highest risk sectors will be able to reopen. In all sectors, COVID-Secure guidance will remain in place and businesses may not cater for groups bigger than the legal limits. Indoor hospitality will reopen – and as in Step 2, venues will not have to serve a substantial meal with alcoholic drinks; nor will there be a curfew. Customers will, however, have to order, eat and drink while seated.
This is likely to be the biggest week for increased demand so:
· Please plan ahead with your ordering and requirements
· The phones will be manned daily by our experienced staff with updates.
· If your re-start plan differs from this date please inform us if possible.
· Unavoidably It will take time to return to normal re-supplies of fish.
· We will be supplying exotics only against firm orders until a pattern and volume is established.
