Welcome chefs to our news page, we would like to welcome the following restaurants on the Lakes delivery round, an area which we see as having a massive potential for ourselves over these next 12 months. This week we have the following joining our fantastic team:
Sun Inn Kirkby Lonsdale; a five star Lake District Inn which features a traditional bar, fabulous food and an award winning five star bed & breakfast.
New Inn Carnforth; enjoy delicious, home cooked gastropub food in a beautifully restored traditional country inn, featuring log fires, local real-ales and fine wine.
Longlands Hotel & Cottages; an award winning pub and restaurant, offering delicious Lancashire specialities, and now offering the finest catch the North Sea has to offer courtesy of Hodgson Fish.
Trout Hotel, Cockermouth; a must for any seafood lover, with elegant quaters set inside a riverside hotel, featuring a genteel restaurant within a casual bistro and lounge bar.
The Lakes Distillery; set within a former Victorian bistro cattle parlour, this Michelin Guide recommended bistro at the Distillery is place perfect for all seafood loving fans.
We are also delighted to announce this week that the Sir John Fitzgerald group has added the much coveted Chalk Stream Trout to their December Menu. This is a relatively new product to the market, grown in Hampshire with water from the unique Rivers Itchen and Test. These gin clear waters give the trout an exceptionally clean, fresh taste, producing very lean, strong fish due to the constant flowing water.
The SJF group has a range of restaurants across the North East, under the guidance of Mr Adrian Watson, with the group going from strength to strength. Their newest seafood restaurant, The Briar Dene is currently taking Whitley Bay by storm. Situated just north of Whitley Bay town centre, this restaurant offers you the complete package, with stunning views looking across an award winning Blue Flag Beach, showcasing fantastic views of St Mary’s Lighthouse.
